Segmented Ice Insert Wraps: Our ice wraps contain a segmented ice insert made of non-toxic purified water containing a USDA approved, food-grade freezing agent. These lightweight segmented water mats offer more coverage and longer duration of cold between insert rotations. Less malleable, they provide more support to the injured area.
Soft Gel Ice Insert Wraps: Most ice wraps available on the market freeze solid and are not malleable, the wraps that are soft and flexible typically include gel alone which will not stay cold very long (in many wraps 15 to 30 minutes.) A select few companies use segmented water mats inserted into gel bags to extend therapy time up to almost 2 hours while still staying soft. However, we found that most of the ice mat is excessive and simply make products more expensive, while leaving the patient with less flexibility. Cool Relief’s product has taken this idea to the next level, and lowered the cost. Our comfort gel products have individual “ice pillows” breaking up the ice mat and making the product as malleable as possible while still keeping the unit as cold as possible for the longest time. With our product’s adjustable elastic, the wraps provide cold compression therapy deep into muscle tissue while the individual ice pillow inserts can be utilized toward the source of the pain keeping the gel colder longer. Our soft gel products are malleable immediately from the freezer, and can be used overall areas of the body for pain relief. We have made these products to rival the highest priced on the market.
